About this vessel
The Rodman 800 is designed for both serious fishing and comfortable family cruising, this 2001 model offers a safe, stable platform with a surprisingly spacious and bright interior.
Exterior & Hull
The hull is built from robust GRP construction with Rodman's signature deep-V hull for confident seakeeping in all conditions. Wide, secure side decks with stainless steel grabrails lead up to the flybridge for safe movement around the vessel. The spacious aft cockpit with stern seating is ideal for fishing or outdoor dining. A swim platform with boarding ladder provides easy water access, and a cockpit shower allows for rinsing off after swimming. Cockpit cushions are provided for comfort at anchor or underway.
Flybridge & Upper Deck
A full flybridge features a secondary exterior helm station offering outstanding all-round visibility. Side grabrails provide safe and easy access from deck to flybridge. A forward bow sunbathing area offers relaxation at anchor.
Engine & Propulsion
Twin-engine configuration with shaft drive and 3-bladed propellers on each engine provides excellent close-quarters manoeuvrability and added safety redundancy for offshore use.
Navigation & Electronics
The vessel is equipped with a GPS chartplotter for precise coastal and offshore navigation, depth sounder for safe passage in shallow waters, log/speedometer for accurate speed and distance tracking, autopilot for relaxed hands-free cruising on longer passages, and compass as reliable backup navigation. A VHF radio with DSC enables coastal communications and safety, and an electric horn provides safe signalling in traffic and low visibility. An FM/CD radio system with cockpit speakers offers entertainment at anchor or underway.
Interior & Saloon
A sliding glass aft door seamlessly connects the cockpit to the interior saloon. The bright, airy saloon features large sliding side windows for excellent light and ventilation, a comfortable dining area with convertible table, and a well-equipped galley with cooker, stainless steel sink, and refrigerator. An interior helm station to starboard allows comfortable navigation in poor weather conditions.
