Sea Ray 315 Sundancer

One of the things people love most about the Sea Ray are the creature comforts these vessels provide. Incredibly comfortable for day trips or weeks away for up to 6 guests.

This Sea Ray underwent a major refit with the intention of using it as a liveaboard in the harbour. The previous owner upgraded refrigeration, cooktop, aircon, sound system, decking, and hot water system all to make life more comfortable on board. These upgrades lend themselves perfectly to extended trips on board.

Fitted in 2006, a structural extension to the stern and two Suzuki 250HP outboards (new at the time). The extension provides a great spot for fishing or a hang out area when at anchor, with two aluminium rails for safe standing whilst at rest or underway. The fuel economy and top speed are not compromised—better fuel economy is found at the cruising range and the same top end speed is achieved. Servicing outboards is much easier and cheaper than inboard petrol engines, and outboards offer greater safety, reliability, and simpler driving and manoeuvring. Additional storage space is available inboard where the motors were previously located, along with an additional fresh water tank and a Kelvinator aircon unit.

The twin cabin set up is great for 2 couples or a family with kids, and the saloon downstairs can convert to an additional double.

With just 660 hours on the Suzuki outboards, these motors will outlast the next owner's life on board. The general condition of this boat is exceptional, with custom decking in A1 condition, upholstery as new, and clears and covers very tidy.

The vessel has been re-wired to the helm with new switches and switch panel installed and a new circuit board. Additional house batteries and solar panels have been installed on the soft top roof.
