About this vessel
Aluminum Chambered Boats (ACB) have gained a strong reputation for building nearly indestructible boats. The ACB hull design offers significant advantages for a comfortable ride and has been known for hard-use recreational performance, commercial fishing, military, law enforcement, and search and rescue application.
The "chambered" part refers to a series of sealed aluminum chambers running down the hull on both sides. These air-tight chambers act like integrated pontoons, creating exceptional roll stability and preventing sinking even if the main hull is breached.
The hull is constructed from welded marine grade aluminum, typically 5086 or 5052 alloy, which is corrosion resistant, durable, and designed for long-term use in salt water. The structure features reinforced full-length longitudinal stringers and bulkheads, self-bailing decks with scuppers and non-skid surfacing, and foam-filled sponsons for extra flotation. Shock-mitigating seating is provided at helm and passenger side with reinforced decks for high-impact use. Heavy-duty welded tow points are included.
