Carver 44

This immaculate 2003 Carver 444 Cockpit Motor Yacht is in exceptional condition with exceptionally detailed maintenance records. She has lived in fresh water on the Upper Chesapeake Bay for at least the last 20 years.

The vessel is a stunning display of interior volume with a 60 square foot cockpit. The salon is immense with a panoramic outside view and almost seven feet of headroom. The full-beam salon was created by raising the side decks to eye level, which is why the boat appears to have so much free-board. There are two staterooms and separate stall showers fore and aft. The boat is easily boardable with various points to board no matter how low or high the tide is, making it especially accessible for people who have issues with knees, hips or other handicaps. The walkway to the bow is spacious.

Topside, wing doors and a hardtop protect the aft deck or Lanai, and there's plenty of fly-bridge seating. The cockpit is a great swimming and diving platform while also providing an easy place to board, with additional wash down showers forward and aft. The salon features a dinette table with cushioned seating for four, a galley, and cream Lamb leather sofa with pull-out queen bed and recliners. Beautiful cherry wood cabinetry is throughout, with cedar lined closets and plenty of storage.

The boat features two staterooms with three queen beds total (one a pull-out from the salon sofa). There are two heads with full showers and Vaccu Flush toilets, plus additional hot/cold showers in the cockpit and at the anchor locker washdown.

Canvas, Eisenglass and screens were replaced in late summer of 2018. Snap-on curtains were made to protect the Eisenglass when rolled up. The vessel is powered by two Volvo Penta TAMD63P A 370 horsepower diesel engines with shaft drive, burning approximately 25 to 30 gallons per hour (total) at 16 knots at 2400 RPMs.
