This J/109 presents an excellent opportunity to acquire a well-maintained and actively campaigned example of this highly successful performance cruiser-racer. Since purchase in 2021, the current owner has invested significantly in mechanical upgrades, rigging improvements, and new racing sails. Optimised for competitive IRC and one-design racing, the boat remains equally at home on a relaxed coastal cruise.
The boat reflects well that the current owners have maintained the boat well and professionally, taking care to include a dull set of interior and exterior covers in order to preserve the finer touches. Under this ownership, this J/109 has competed successfully at Cowes Week, consistently placing well in fleet competition 1 including a 3rd place finish in the J/109 class at the 2025 event.
