Multicap Caraïbes Punch 1500 LC

A well proven bluewater catamaran, extensively upgraded and ready to sail, Shambala is a robust Punch 1500 LC built by Multicap Caraïbes to the highly regarded Mortain & Mavrikios design. Constructed in epoxy laminated marine plywood, she offers excellent structural integrity, controlled displacement and a comfortable, sea kindly motion suited to serious offshore cruising.

Built in 2003 and held by only her second owner since 2016, Shambala has benefited from two significant refits completed in 2018 and again in 2024. The starboard hull offers a comfortable owner's aft cabin with en suite head and a separate forward guest cabin, providing excellent privacy and balance onboard. Sailing performance is supported by a Sparcraft aluminium mast, renewed standing rigging, Dyneema running rigging and a versatile sail wardrobe. Twin Volvo D2-55 engines provide reliable power, complemented by excellent electrical autonomy from lithium batteries, solar panels, smart alternators, inverter, charger and a Fischer Panda generator.

Recent 2024 works include a complete rudder system refurbishment, structural beam inspections and repairs and Coppercoat antifouling.
