Dufour 44 Performance Balance is the perfect combination of Cruise and Race.

Balance has many features you need for a good cruising yacht. She is really fast! When you go for a cruise up the coast you can sit on between 7 and 10 Knots. It is very rare that a sailing yacht will go past you.

This yacht can properly be raced. She comes with both cruising and racing sails. Including near new racing jibs, plus some older ones, 3 Mainsails, 3 Spinnakers (Symetrical and Assymetrical), Storm Sails, Removable bow sprit and Spinnaker Pole.

The Volvo Pentax 55 HP Motor is one of the most reliable engines with plenty of grunt to help you along when the wind is not doing the right thing. The Volvo Mechanic believes these engines are good for 20 to 30 thousand hours. She has a Sail drive with a 3 Blade folding prop.

Balance can easily be cruised with two people or raced with 2 to 9 people depending on the sail choices you wish to use.

Most Wire rigging is older than 10 years so will need replacing for full insurance. Owner happy to organise this if required.
