Beneteau Oceanis 473 Performance
Overview
About this vessel
NOMAD is a 2004 Bénéteau Océanis 473 in the highly sought-after 3-cabin Owner's version, offering a particularly comfortable layout with a spacious forward master cabin, two aft double cabins, and two heads with showers. She is the Performance version of the renowned Oceanis 473, featuring a 2.10 m deep keel, recognised for her superior sailing capabilities and excellent balance between speed, comfort, and safety for bluewater cruising. Owned by her current owner since 2016, the yacht has always benefited from rigorous, methodical, and professional maintenance. Every intervention has been carried out with high standards and forward planning, with a constant focus on reliability and offshore safety. A complete trans-Pacific preparation was undertaken in 2023 (approximately 45,000 invested), including new standing rigging, new genoa furler, upgraded main electronics (Raymarine Axiom 9, AIS), new batteries, entirely renewed primary anchoring system, and new tender with new outboard engine. The Volvo TMD22 engine (approx. 2,000 hours) has been carefully maintained and recently underwent a major service (timing belt, injectors, turbo, stainless steel exhaust elbow). Last haul-out completed in June 2025. Preventive osmotic treatment (5-layer epoxy system).
