Step aboard the Luhrs 40 Convertible with its custom stainless swim platform finished in EVA decking recently added it offers a much needed addition to the usual Luhrs features, and an ideal location for landing a big fish or stepping out of the dive gear. Plenty of rod holders and recessed cleats with wide gunwales that are set at the perfect height to sit on while relaxing in the EVA finished Cockpit under the recently replaced 3/4 length overhead awning. An ice box to the Port side for additional cold storage and a sizeable bait station to the Starboard side with a huge live bait tank, inbuilt baitboard, sink and tackle storage options.

A centrally located Saloon door opens outwards and draws you into the classically finished game boat fitout, timber throughout, soft finished head linings, leather lounges and plenty of natural light. Luhrs always offers a premium yet efficient finish. Great headroom for the tall ones amongst us, standing over 6 feet I am comfortable in the Saloon. Open the curtains to let the natural light flood in or draw them for a movie as the day wears on through the Kogan TV. The kids will be happy relaxing in the Saloon while mum and dad soak up the sun with a cold drink on the back deck. Installed to the Port side the Galley allows for an effortless meal prep with good bench space, twin Nova Cool fridges and a triple element Kenyon stove. All trimmed out in a warm timber finish with useful storage available again takings Luhrs efficient and economical approach to the boat.

The standard forward master cabin with its island style queen berth fills the bow, there isn't much more you can do with a berth in the bow !, a pair of bunks located to midships on the Port side will give the kids plenty of room with the two Saloon lounges offering up two more berths when a guest stays for the night. Sleep 6 in comfort makes great use of the 40 feet of boat. Your head with vanity, separate shower and vaccuflush toilet sits opposite the midships bunk room to the Starboard side easily accessible from the cabins and the perfect location as the day head.

Make your way to the rear ladder and up to the Fly Bridge the vision is outstanding with crystal clear front and side clears recently replaced. While no clear to the rear, typical of the Luhrs brand this is easy to fit by a competent trimmer if required. Twin helm seats, a forward lounge and Port side lounge allows the whole family to sit up with the skipper on the long run home from the FADs. An upgraded Simrad NSS 12 screen runs the sounder and GPS with older units from Raymarine still operating as an additional sounder. Fire up the Kenwood BT stereo, pair your phone and Spotify is right at your finger tips.

Powered by a pair of Cummins 6CTA 480 Hp diesel shaft driven engines she has all the power she will need to lift the nose and set a cracking pace. Cummins engine management gauges plus analogue gauges electronic ZF shift, slow idle and RPM troll control with engine Sync. An ergonomic helm layout with everything right at hand. Fire up the big engines and head out of the marina.
