Dreamtime is a comprehensive package that includes a fully furnished and equipped liveaboard-powered houseboat, a rare fully approved liveaboard berth at Bayswater Marina, million-dollar views, and is only 15 minutes by ferry from central Auckland.

This professionally built, roomy, and tastefully decorated pontoon catamaran comes fully furnished, with well-planned storage and access to decks at the bow and stern, as well as open and covered top-deck areas. She is very strongly built in aluminium and boasts two brand-new outboards. On her berth or exploring inshore waters, she provides all the comforts of home.

The Bayswater berth is available for rent or sale, with 8 years to run, with the right of renewal.

Her current owner has lived aboard her for 10 years and has recently renovated the interior into a stylish home. Dreamtime has a modern kitchen with all facilities, two cabins (one double and one single) with separate shower and toilet, and large entertaining areas inside and outside. Utilities are powered by gas, solar and electricity.

Included are all household furniture, a wall-mounted television, two European designer chairs with footstools, tables, a fridge, a stove, an extractor fan, a toilet, etc.

There are deck spaces fore and aft, and up top, there’s a large sundeck and a covered area with a davit, space for the tender, and storage for bicycles.

Dreamtime gets along well, cruising at 4-5 knots and reaching a top speed of 8-10 knots with her twin Honda 60 hp, 4-stroke outboards, and fresh antifouling. Hefty anchor and winch keep you secure in your favourite anchorage.

Built in aluminium by Alloy Boats of Tauranga, Dreamtime is a catamaran with two pontoons, that is, with two tubular hulls with a pointed bow and a strong bridge deck. She has full-length belts and a mini keel on each pontoon, allowing the boat to take the ground. A recent survey (February 2022) cites the vessel as being in very good overall condition and well-constructed. This survey and documents are available to serious viewers. Dreamtime has previously been in the NZ Ship Management survey for charter operation.
