Groupe Finot designed her for the best combination of speed and ease of handling while down below, her two cabins and saloon are spacious and exceptionally well-appointed. She has many great features such as Beneteau s patented folding boarding platform that hides under the aft deck when not needed, preserving her clean lines while underway and saving deck space, yet provides ease of entry to the dinghy and for swimming.
This boat has many recent upgrades including new electronics in 2025: B&G 3S Chartplotter, Radar, VHF and AIS. Her sails are 2-3 years old and she only has 490 hours on her Yanmar and 750 on her Generator. She would be a superb choice for sailors looking for style, performance and comfort.
The interior of the Beneteau 42CC is spacious, bright, and comfortable with two staterooms and heads. Forward is a pullmand berth to starboard with drawers under and storage locker and seat to port. There is a private head in the bow area. The main salon has a storage locker to port with a forward facing navigation station. The U shaped dinette to starboard has a table that pulls out for dining or converts to a double berth for extra sleeping. The galley stretches through the port side of that boat as you head aft. There is ample storage under and outboard with lots of counter space. The owners cabin aft has a centerline queen berth with storage and ample headroom. The aft head is to starboard. There are opening ports and hatches throughout the boat for plenty of light and ventilation.
