Grand Banks 49 Eastbay SX

Amyleasa is an especially fine example of the Grand Banks Eastbay 49 Salon Express (SX) model with the factory hard-back salon enclosure. She features the side door leading to the side decks at the helm, a sought-after feature for cruising couples on DownEast-style cruising yachts. She is powered by the Caterpillar C12 engine with 2060 hours and services up to date. Amyleasa has received numerous key upgrades over the years, including Awlgripped hullsides, bow and stern thrusters, and an upgraded 17.5 kW generator. Recent improvements include block heaters, noise control insulation in the salon, new non-skid priming and painting, new aftercoolers, custom cockpit cushions and bimini, power steering replacement, and a complete house battery bank upgrade. Entertainment systems include two TVs, KVH satellite TV, and Bluetooth stereo. Navigation and communication upgrades feature a Furuno Maxsea NavNet 3D with East Coast and Bahamas Explorer Charts, Sirius satellite weather, and a GotW3 high-speed internet router. Additional upgrades include custom HCM mattresses, Oceanaire blinds in all salon windows, new soft goods in salon and galley, new window treatments, a new water heater, a fire suppression system that has been recertified, new exterior courtesy lighting, a new Garmin aft-facing camera, and a new oil change system. The bottom was painted with new zincs in December 2024.
