About this vessel
This 2005 Grand Soleil 37 Botin and Carkeek is an ideal performance cruiser specified to compete on the race circuit. Boracic has taken part in JOG and RORC offshore races, the Rolex Fastnet Race and round the cans club racing.
Built with a deeper 2.4m IRC keel and taller mast (P 15.2m), enhancing all-round performance, especially upwind.
The hull and deck are in sandwich construction of vinylester and polyester resin with divinicell core. Decks are finished in non-slip moulded gelcoat, with teak on cockpit benches, helm seat, and toe-rail. The structural grid was professionally abraded and re-protected with 5 coats of epoxy primer in 2025.
The stylish Italian interior was designed by Patrick Roseo, with joinery in teak treated with polyurethane, offset by cream upholstery which can be replaced with durable canvas covers for regattas or offshore sailing. The interior is ergonomic and easy to move around at sea. This B-version interior features a shower compartment and deep cockpit locker instead of a port aft cabin.
The saloon has a C-shaped sofa around a large fixed table to starboard with stowage under seats and outboard of the seating area. The large linear galley to port is fitted with a Techimpex two burner hob and oven, with a Corian white worktop and twin stainless steel sinks with mixer tap.
The forward cabin has an island double berth with two hanging lockers and reading lights. The aft cabin to starboard has a double berth, hanging locker and red/white reading light. The heads include a separate shower compartment with manual head, white moulded GRP basin with mixer tap, mirror and stowage.
Offered with an impressive sail wardrobe which includes a recent suit of Sanders Sails.
