Sea Ray 520 Sedan Bridge
Overview
About this vessel
**** REMARKABLE****, is one way to describe the BIG features and HUGE cockpit on this very well loved and professionally customised WA special SEARAY 520. At around 56 ft overall, with 3 x cabins 2 x bathrooms, a huge luxurious saloon with separate dining area, well appointed galley with twin fridges, beautiful lounges with the starboard side converting to a double sofa bed, Bose sound and big tv and all with a feeling of quality as expected from a leading premium quality boat builder. VIDEO coming in next few days!!!
Searay are the masters of utilising space and innovators when it comes to features and function. Searay hulls are thicker than most, they are very strong and stable at rest, they run very softly and dry in the rough and are build with premium quality materials that stand the test of time. It is hard to find a hull in this size to run as well and in this case has a huge back deck, which uniquely introduces the space where us WA boaties want it. I have personally owned a CARIBBEAN 45 for the past 13 years and after lots of late night Rotto talk on the back deck with friends i have come to the conclusion that the Searay 52 will most probably be my next boat as nothing matches it for value and features and it is ideally suited to our sometimes harsh WA waters.
The owner of this boat has had it for more than 10 years and has poured lots of love and clever ideas into what she is today with WA friendly enhancements that certainly makes days comfortable when you get big families and lots of friends on board. He only had the boat for a few years when he had the cockpit area professionally extended. It should be noted that the hull was not modified at all like some other boats are when extended, the deck area was the only part extended by moving the transom pod aft about 1200mm and the deck sides were extended to suit and a large swim platform was then added with utility railing and bbq mounts etc. The new transom design include 2 x transom doors, extra underfloor storage and some custom stainless steel transom gates. The owner also installed an extended rear awning that accommodated the dinghy on top and a range of canvas options below to allow for different conditions and occasions. The portable extended rear shade is clever also, attaching to the rear of the swim board and connecting the shade to the fixed awning. The swim platform utility rail is removable and there is also a set of cradles and roller system that allows for a jet ski to be winched up and stowed on the swim board.
So, she is a big boat with lots on offer, all powered by a pair of CUMMINS QSM 11's pushing her along nicely to around 29 knots, has a BOW and STERN thruster, a davit crane and dinghy, moulded fibreglass staircase to the aircond flybridge, washer dryer, ducted vacuum, big LATRONICS INVERTER and battery system, a flybridge with wet bar and fridge and seating for 10 people and yes I am going to bang on about that big deck again that is a game changer compared to most other Searay flybridge boats. This boat has been stored with covers on covers, all neat and tidy ready for her next family to love.
If part of you is interested in what you see and read here then make the time to come and see if for yourself, I dont think anyone could be disappointed.
