Rampage 38 Express

Chasin Fin is a well-maintained 2006 Rampage 38 Express. It is a handsome boat with a relatively wide beam that rides on a 19-degree deadrise modified vee hull, a winning combination of performance and stability.

The deck layout has a center helm pod forward with an L-shaped lounge to port and wet bar opposite. Aft, the cockpit is equipped with two removable in-deck fish boxes, a custom 55-gallon livewell with a window, a molded tackle center with sink and cooler and a transom door and gate. The entire bridge deck lifts on a pair of hydraulic rams to reveal a spacious and well-designed engine compartment.

A classic design, the Rampage 38 Express cabin can accommodate up to four with a double berth forward and a convertible U-shaped dinette to port. Additional features include excellent cabin headroom, a separate stall shower in the head, power windshield center vent, hinged helm for access to the wiring, tilt steering and cherry wood interior trim.

The salon features all cherry wood interior, teak and holly cabin sole, and a large U-shaped convertible lounge. The galley is equipped with a 2 burner electric range, microwave/convection oven, and dual voltage refrigerator/freezer. The head includes a separate stall shower with integral seat and Tecma fresh water flush system with holding tank and macerator pump.

The cockpit offers 100 square feet of usable area with self-bailing sole, fresh and raw water wash-down systems, and a bait prep center with sink, rigging board and lockable tackle storage. The engine room houses twin Caterpillar C9 Diesel main engines with ZF transmissions and trolling valves, an Onan 9kw generator, three bilge pumps, and heavy-duty batteries. The vessel features dripless shaft seals, fiberglass water-lift mufflers, and extra thick engine room bulkhead with high density sound insulation.
