Beneteau Oceanis 50

Holy Cow is a beautifully presented 2007 Beneteau Oceanis 50, designed by Berret & Racoupeau and built by Beneteau in France. This popular bluewater cruiser combines performance, strength, and comfort, offering the ideal balance for both relaxed coastal cruising and extended offshore passages. Lying on the Gold Coast with Australian tax paid, Holy Cow has been well maintained and is ready to sail away.

Renowned for her distinctive cow spot hull design, Holy Cow is an iconic and much-loved yacht within the Australian sailing community. She has proven her offshore capability, having previously won the cruising division in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. Currently under 1E, 2C and 2D commercial survey, she also presents an excellent opportunity for charter operation or private use.

At 14.75 metres in length with a 4.49-metre beam and 2.10-metre draft, Holy Cow offers impressive stability and a comfortable motion at sea. Her Whalespar aluminium mast, stainless steel rigging (replaced in 2021), slab-reefed mainsail, and three headsails create an efficient and manageable sail plan, complemented by a gennaker in a sock. All winches are Harken, including one electric for effortless handling.

Power is provided by a 110hp Yanmar 4JH4-THE diesel engine with approximately 3,500 hours, delivering a comfortable 7-knot cruising speed. A folding three-blade propeller, bow thruster, and 235-litre fuel tank plus eight 20-litre jerry cans provide excellent manoeuvrability and range. The engine and antifouling were serviced in July 2025.

Below deck, Holy Cow features a bright and welcoming interior with three queen cabins and two electric heads with showers, ideal for family cruising or hosting guests. The spacious saloon enjoys abundant natural light and ventilation, complemented by fans throughout. The well-equipped galley includes an Isotherm fridge and freezer, Eno 4-burner gas cooktop and oven, microwave, stainless steel sink, and gas alarm.

Electronics and navigation are all Raymarine, featuring radar, autopilot, AIS, wind instruments, depth sounder, and twin E80 chartplotters, supported by Icom VHF units. Electrical systems include six new AGM house batteries (2025), Onan 5.5kVA generator, dual chargers, 600W inverter, and shore power.

On deck, she s fitted with a Lewmar electric windlass, Ultra stainless anchor, 2.9m tender with Mercury 4.5hp outboard, bimini, Magma BBQ, and deck shower.
