Few production yachts can match the adrenaline of a Mangusta 80 at full noise. Twin MTU 16V2000 M93 engines (2,400 hp each, 4,800 hp total) paired with Arneson ASD14 surface drives propel BLANC to a verified 46 6 knots in light conditions and a relaxed 32 36 knot cruise. Engines are fully up-to-date on MTU service schedules. The Arneson drives were removed, fully rebuilt and reinstalled in 2023 with new seals, bearings and trim rams. New bow and stern thrusters (2024) make close-quarters handling effortless despite the yacht 2 performance envelope.
This was not a cosmetic exercise. The yacht was stripped to a shell in many areas and rebuilt using the finest materials available: complete interior redesign and refit: new headliners, wall panels, cabinetry veneers and soft furnishings throughout. All upholstery in premium Italian leathers and outdoor fabrics (sunbrella/marine-grade). New Garmin GPSMap glass-bridge navigation suite (3 7 24 3 screens + grid remote). Melfi Design custom helm chairs in carbon & Alcantara. Full LED mood and functional lighting package with dimming zones. Fusion Apollo RA770 head unit + JL Audio M6 marine speakers and subwoofer. New Seawasp 25 kVA generator (2024) 6 zero hours at listing. Tender garage fully refurbished and repainted. Fresh Antifoul, PropSpeed on running gear and full ceramic coating above the waterline (June 2024). 2023 Williams Turbojet 325 (90 hp Rotax) included and stowed in the garage.
The classic Mangusta layout is executed to an exceptionally high standard. The full-beam master stateroom is amidships and features a king berth, dedicated desk/vanity, settee and large ensuite with twin basins and oversized shower. Forward is a proper VIP suite with queen island berth and private ensuite. A twin guest cabin to port shares a day head that doubles as an ensuite. The saloon is vast, with mirrored L-shaped lounges, a rise-and-fall dining table for eight and a well-equipped wet bar opposite. Separate crew quarters aft provide twin bunks, crew mess and direct engine-room access 6 ideal for charter operations. On deck, the signature Mangusta lines are complemented by a huge aft deck that converts from formal dining to casual lounge with the touch of a button. A retractable Bimini provides shade when required. Forward, the oversized sunpad is served by a custom removable shade system.
