Nor-Tech 4700 Super Cat
Overview
About this vessel
Seabound Yachts is proud to present this exceptional 2007 Nor-Tech 4700 Super Cat. Built on a reinforced Kevlar layup and powered by twin Mercury Racing 1075 SCi's, this vessel represents the pinnacle of offshore performance and engineering.
The boat has undergone a full mechanical reset with engines now running under 10 hours since refresh. It features BAM 1500 Dry Sump Transmissions and BPM Surface Drives with SCS Drop-Boxes with interchangeable gears, paired with hydraulic rudder steering and 5-blade custom stainless steel propellers. The exhaust system was custom modified and updated in 2020.
The Kevlar construction provides lighter, stronger, and more rigid characteristics than standard fiberglass. The cockpit features an enclosed air-conditioned canopy with dual-helm configuration. The interior was custom updated in 2017, and a new forward windshield was installed in 2020. The vessel sports a custom "The Art of Design" (TAOD) paint scheme by Dean Loucks.
Electronics and communication systems include a 6-station David Clark intercom system with headsets, Garmin GPS/Chartplotter, Mercury SmartCraft VesselView, and an integrated drive camera system with forward and aft-facing cameras plus passenger-view monitors. Audio is handled by a premium Pioneer sound system with 12 speakers, 2 subwoofers, and 2 amplifiers.
A 2007 Myco 50' custom tri-axle trailer is included with forward toolboxes and boarding ladder. Additional extras include a full cockpit cover and mechanical indicators for drive and tab trim.
