The Nordic 42 is designed with a spacious layout and features a large ship-style helm. The bridge includes a substantial chart table, offers a 360-degree view, and provides direct access to the deck. Powered by a Cummins C Series engine, the Nordic 42 can reach a top speed of 18 knots, cruise comfortably at 14 knots, or slow down to 9 knots, consuming less than 3 gallons per hour. Built to confidently navigate rough waters, its hard chine semi-displacement hull ensures a stable and quiet ride. The hull is constructed using hand-laid fiberglass and has a full keel to protect the rudder and propeller. The interior features a roomy walk-around queen stateroom with a private head, a guest stateroom with a head, a U-shaped galley, and a large salon.
