Trophy 2502 Walkaround

Famed for their dry and compliant ride and excellent build quality, the Trophy 2502 Walkaround provides an extremely versatile vessel for those wanting to explore further and fish or relax in more comfort. The cockpit space is thoughtfully designed, featuring a walk-through transom door to port, a large live-bait tank, enormous storage along the transom and sides, padded gunwales, toe rails to lock in when fighting that big fish and more! Rod and cup holders are placed in numbers throughout the upper deck with a set of rocket launcher rod holders above head at the tail end of the extended hard-top. The cockpit also features a saltwater deck wash, freshwater shower and a fold-up bench seat across the transom. Moving forward from the open and versatile aft cockpit is a spacious and very well-protected helm and seating area. Fully enclosed from the front and sides with the addition of PVC clears, makes this vessel usable and comfortable, no matter the prevailing weather conditions. This partially enclosed area offers a great deal of seating with individual chairs at the helm and to port, plus two aft-facing seats behind which also provide deep storage. Beneath the helm chair is allocated space for an esky. The helm itself is very well equipped, benefiting hugely from a current model and NEW (2025) Raymarine multi-function touchscreen display, a NEW (2025) ICOM VHF, electric windlass controls, Lenco trim tab controls, various switchgear and digital engine telemetry.

Power comes from a very well-maintained and covered Mercury Verado 275hp engine with only 464 hours of use, which is in excellent condition. With roughly 620 litres of fuel, this vessel is well-equipped for extended journeys to more remote areas. With its aggressive bow-flare and compliant hull design, Cool Change is comfortable at higher cruise speeds and sees a top-end of 34 knots with ease.

Access to the cabin below is relaxed with a clever sliding companionway hatch, revealing a luxurious and spacious interior below that is presented in exceptional condition. Side cabin-top portholes and a foredeck hatch provide plenty of natural light and ventilation. Immediately to port is a practical kitchenette with excellent storage beneath, a stainless-steel sink with fresh water and an electric cooktop. A deeper landing area provides full-standing headroom for most of the interior. Moving forward is a tastefully appointed V-berth that also features a centre in-fill to convert to a full double berth and provides enclosed storage below. A removable timber dinette can be installed on the centreline to provide dining space. Cool Change features the added benefit of a head on board. Positioned to the starboard side and below a removable settee section is a manual Jabsco toilet which impressively includes a holding tank and electric macerator pump-out system for easy use. A NEW (2025) Fusion Bluetooth stereo system provides sound for both the interior and exterior, while a NEW (2025) head unit can be found tucked towards the aft of the cabin beside the vessel's electrical switching panel.

Being a walkaround, access fore and aft is excellent and not a hassle with rods or drinks in hand with high side-rails providing great protection. The foredeck is home to a NEW (2024) Maxwell electric windlass with controls at the helm, a NEW (2024) Rocna anchor and NEW (2024) chain.

Cool Change comes complete with a freshly serviced dual-axle Mackay trailer, fitted with an easy Boat Catch quick-catch system and Hydrapro hydraulic braking. Currently registered and roadworthy in Tasmania, the addition of a road trailer allows for cleaner and cheaper storage and the freedom of accessibility to locations further from home.
