Engines, Mechanical and Electrical

Propulsion provided by twin M.A.N Common Rail 800hp diesel engines. Total time on both port and starboard engines is approximately 1325 hours as of May 2025. The starboard engine was overhauled in the fall of 2022 at 1200 hours by Scarano Marine, a M.A.N dealer in Fort Lauderdale. M.A.N 1000 hour service was performed on the port engine in August 2023 by Scarano Marine; the starboard engine received its 1000 hour service through its overhaul. Heat exchangers were serviced again in 2024. New dripless shaft seals were installed in 2023. Six new batteries were installed in 2026. Four bilge pumps, Rupp hydraulic rigger pump, bright white finish gelcoat in engine room, hot water heater, automatic fire suppression system, and oil change system. Generator with sound shield. 24DC and 120V AC power distribution panel, 50A 125V shorepower inlet with Glendenning Cablemaster, and upgraded 12.6KW Westerbeke generator with engine room AC power outlets.
