SHORE THING is officially on the market! Previously "BAD COMPANY" there are very few game fishing enthusiasts in the world that don t know and love this weapon Viking 60. This is where it all began, the original BAD COMPANY EDITION 60 Viking. This 4 stateroom 60 is by far the best-outfitted 60 on the market. When built in 2008 60 Viking Convertible Yacht SHORE THING had all the West Coast modifications done at the factory during its construction. She had 18 custom molds engineered and built by the Viking Factory. It was a collaborative design by Anthony Hsieh, Steve Lassley, Pete Groesbeck and Jim Kingsmill with well over 100 years of combined fishing experience this boat is still state of the art.
This 60 has (4) Seakeeper 6 gyros installed in the Engine Room tucked away out of the elements outboard the main engines. Truly a turn-key boat ready to fish at any level desired. In 2019/2020 She had a major refit in expectations of a South Pacific Tour that Covid shut down. Just prior to loading on the ship the vessel had approximately USD $800,000 worth of work done. Including new Injectors, After-coolers and Turbos on the Main Engines. At the same time new Generators, Watermaker, Air Conditioners, Refrigeration, Electronics, Octoplex, batteries, total Bridge Enclosure and much more.
Since her arrival in Australia BAD COMPANY was sold and renamed SHORE THING and the extensive upgrades continued including a new Garmin package (6 screens), Omni 360 sonar, new davit, all new headliners and wall coverings, new Veem propellers, and extensive cosmetic upgrades. SHORE THING is arguably the most equipped Viking 60 in the world and this has resulted in some phenomenal competition and fishing accolades. The list of upgrades, options and maintenance records is phenomenal.
