About this vessel
This Colvin-designed Pinky Schooner is the product of fifteen years of meticulous craftsmanship, completed in 2008. Built by a respected East Coast yard, SIREN features steel construction. Her classic gaff-rigged sail plan, raked masts, and low, double-ended hull with a sweeping sheer create a timeless profile -- an unmistakable standout in any harbor or on the open sea.
Professional rigging, engine installation and wiring was followed by a classic owner-completion using premium materials, fine workmanship and exquisite finishes. The current owner continued with the meticulous care this vessel has seen, including the following upgrades: 2025 new deck paint and brightwork; 2023 new B&G Chartplotter Vulcan 7"; 2023 updated AIS and VHF Radio B&G; 2023 new sail covers; 2022 all new running rigging; 2022 updated plumbing, rebuilt pumps for head; 2022 high water alarm and manual bilge pump; 2021 all new batteries.
Construction
Total LOA 50'. Hull laid 1993, launched 2008. Construction completed by John Bowen -- his work is impressive in every respect.
Hull, decks, cabin sides, bowsprit, and rudder built by Custom Steel Boats, North Carolina, of 10 gauge steel. Decks and cabin house sides are steel. Cabin top is Honduras mahogany.
Cabin top built of 4 layers of 1/4" marine plywood laid in West System epoxy. Hull paint Ameron 2-part epoxy. Cabin sole is 3/8" teak epoxy laminated to 1'2" plywood. Interior woodwork is Honduras mahogany. Hull lining is clear pine. Solid brass cabinet hardware.
Rig & Deck Gear
Schooner rigged Chesapeake Bay Rigging with aluminium spars, stainless steel standing rigging, gaff-rigged with fisherman topsails, spinnaker, Harken roller furling jib, 2 winches, and manual windlass Lunenberg Centennial. Equipped with 2 anchors: 45 lb CQR, 35 lb Bruce, 100' of chain, and 250' of rode.
Accommodations
Two compartment layout with forward cabin dinette converts to double berth and forward head with sink and shower. Aft cabin with 2 berths contains a marine head. Dickenson Diesel Pacific galley range also provides cabin heat with 2 burner diesel stove.
Mechanical & Electrical
Engine system and electrical wiring professionally installed by North Harbor Diesel, Anacortes, WA. Equipped with shore power, isolation transformer, Freedom 20 inverter/charger, Link 1000 battery monitor, GI-30 galvanic isolator, Balmar alternator 912-75 with regulator, solar panel, (4) Group 31 deep cycle house batteries, and (1) Optima start battery. Marol hydraulic steering helm pump and rotary (wheel) actuator.
Only the raw water intake for engine cooling is below the waterline -- all remaining through-hulls are above the waterline.

Standard Horizon GX23605 VHF with hailer, Dirigo 5" compass, Furuno GP-32 GPS, Yeoman chart plotter, Furuno LS-6100 depth sounder with knot meter, Com Nav autopilot, Furuno 24 mi 2 kw radar, Raymarine ST60 wind/sailing instrument, and Clarion stereo with 6 CD changer and Sirius satellite radio.
Safety
(1) Electric bilge pump and Viking 4-man liferaft in canister.
