Eric Goetz, its Chief Technology Officer, is widely considered a pioneer in the development of advanced composites for high-performance applications. Some of Goetz previous accomplishments include the 1984 Jubilation (Frers 54) which introduced the extensive use of carbon fiber to reduce weight and increase strength in marine construction, and a 1990 program in conjunction with Stanford University Department of Aeronautics, MIT, and Hercules, Inc.
