Originally launched in South Australia, Tango has worked extensively in Western Australia as a research vessel, supporting whale studies and contracts with the Australian Defence Force. She has since travelled across the northern coast of the country and now resides in Queensland.

Built by Riviera, a name known for capable offshore cruisers, Tango is a proven long range vessel with exceptional sea-keeping ability. She is still registered in Western Australia and currently in survey (restricted to research use only and Jamaican flagged), meaning she has been maintained to a high commercial standard throughout her life.
