Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42i

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42i is a handsome yacht with beautiful lines and it sails as well as you may expect – a true modern performance oriented cruiser. A twin wheel set up gives excellent access to the water via the transom when anchored for swimming and the cockpit is perfectly set out control wise with electric winch and jammers. Down below this version features two double cabins plus garage space to port behind the aft bathroom, affording abundant dry storage for cruising and an extra double berth can be arranged in the saloon if needed.

The yacht is very well set up electrically with lithium batteries, a 1,320 watt solar array with triple MPPT control and comprehensive and updated navigation equipment. The owner has been fastidious with engine servicing and the yacht will survey well. The last haul out for routine hull care was August 2025 and a rigging report from 2017 is also available.

Accommodations: IMAGINE 10 offers bright and spacious accommodation ideal for comfortable cruising. The saloon provides seating for up to eight, with the dining table capable of lowering for an additional saloon berth, giving a maximum of three doubles. A dedicated navigation area is positioned to port for convenient passage planning. She features two private cabins: a forward V-berth cabin and an aft starboard double cabin. The aft port side space is dedicated as a store room, accessed from the aft bathroom and offers generous additional secure and dry storage space. The interior is cooled by a Thermo Dynamic AC Marine 2 HP system installed in August 2020, operating on shore power.

Galley: ENO 2 burner gas stove and oven, double stainless steel sink with manual seawater foot pump, 140 litre fridge, and ENGEL MR040 40 litre portable freezer. The galley comes complete with cutlery and crockery.

Head: Two manual JABSCO heads with Japanese bidet seats and two holding tanks.

Showers: Two showers with hot and cold water.

Mast & Rigging: Original SELDEN aluminium mast from 2009 with standing and running rigging from the same year. The last rigging check was carried out in August 2017.

Deck Gear: QUICK electric anchor winch, HARKEN sheet and halyard winches, stainless steel swim ladder, deck shower with hot and cold water, davits, lifelines, cleats, stanchions, push/pulpit, tracks, fishing fittings and fenders.
