About this vessel
White Horse is a very tidy and well-maintained example of the ever-popular Mustang 3800. Launched in 2009 and showing just 950 hours on twin Volvo D6 310HP engines, the current owner has spared no expense ensuring turn-key reliability. In the last two years both legs have been replaced with new, the Kohler generator has been fully rebuilt, the engine cooling heat exchangers and turbos have been replaced. Engine servicing is right up to date and the boat has been anti-fouled, groomed and polished in readiness for a long summer season.
Below decks is sophisticated and stylish with surprising internal volume. Fully equipped for relaxed cruising, White Horse has two generous double berths, a full-service galley with two fridges, electric hob and microwave, excellent counterspace and galley storage and a raised dinette. There is a spacious toilet and shower with hot water off AC and engine and a second hot shower on the extended teak boarding platform.
Onboard power demand is amply served with a fully overhauled 5KW generator and ample solar to maintain very recent house batteries. Electronics include large-screen Raymarine Axiom plotter with twin transducers for 3D imaging, auto anchoring with chain counter, bow thruster, Zip wakes for enhanced handling and ride, TV/DVD, stereo, battery charger and current EWoF.
With a comfortable cruise of 24 knots and a spirited top speed of 32 knots, the Mustang 3800 is a launch designed to go places in comfort and speed. With lovely presentation and recent maintenance, White Horse is a fabulous example and priced to meet the market.
