Overview

About this vessel

A proven and highly regarded quality build, the MEC 12.5 provides fantastic spacious living areas, terrific accommodation solutions and beautiful finishes, all within a package that occupies a single 15m berth thanks to its sub 5m beam. Sporting a relatively high tunnel and bulbous bows, Graceville is a proven vessel having undertaken a large portion of its miles offshore. Couple that with an economical fast cruise, this vessel positions itself well as a fast, efficient luxury extended cruiser. Having received NEW HOUSE AND START BATTERIES, A RECENT SALTWATER SERVICE, RECENT GENERAL SERVICING AND SLIPPING, Graceville is turn-key ready for summer cruising and exploration with friends and family.

The saloon is large and beamy, featuring a spacious galley immediately to port that services the cockpit and saloon efficiently. The galley features extensive bench space with a large full-size upright fridge and freezer, 2-burner electric cooktop, microwave and stainless-steel sink. Opposite is a large U-shape settee with plenty of seating for at least eight around a timber dinette, while large saloon windows make for a fantastic view out. Thanks to this vessel's wide beam, the saloon feels incredibly spacious and does not feel cluttered with extra friends and family on board.

The port-side hull houses the enclosed master cabin, featuring a large double berth with side access and plenty of storage throughout. A large head sits aft of the master cabin, separated by a small landing space. The head is well equipped and features great floor space, a vacu-flush toilet, large vanity and sink and a big separate shower stall. The starboard-side hull houses two guest cabins: a private double berth forward and a large king single/double berth further aft.

This vessel's design and layout make for fantastic single level living and an excellent flow from the interior to the cockpit with a wide main companionway. The cockpit is particularly spacious and benefits greatly from the wide beam. A large bench settee stretches across the transom with easily enough seating for 5 or 6, with enough deck space for a loose dinette and deck chairs. A large day head sits to the starboard side with a vacu-flush toilet and vanity - perfect for those in dripping wet bathing suits and wetsuits! The cockpit then is very well set out, also featuring a large fridge and ice maker to port. The wide and deep boarding platforms have more to offer, with a gas BBQ to starboard and a bait board and swim ladder to port.

Engine room accesses can be found to each side of the cockpit with good access into these spaces. Fitted with twin Yanmar 230hp diesel engines with low hours and a consistent maintenance history, Graceville uses effective multihull design to achieve an efficient fast cruise of 15 knots, using just 50 L/hr combined. With 240V power from a Cummins Onan 11 Kva generator (only 800 hours!), a fuel capacity of 1200L, and a proven capable hull, this vessel makes for a fantastic extended cruiser with specific note of very little tendency for tunnel slap in a big sea state.

Flybridge access is great thanks to a shallow-raked staircase with teak steps. Wrapped in excellent condition clears, the flybridge itself is spacious with a large L-shape settee with enough seating for at least 8, while a large drinks fridge services this space. Twin helm chairs sit behind a well-equipped station, featuring a NEW Simrad 12-inch multifunction display, Raymarine E120 multifunction display, radar, autopilot and all the engine controls and telemetry you'd expect. Sitting on the aft flybridge deck is a Seajay 370 Nomad aluminium tender with easy launch and retrieval thanks to an ADC deck crane.

Designed and built by reputable and proven names, Graceville is a fantastic extended cruising package that has proven itself offshore with commendable sea-keeping characteristics. Its high-quality aluminium build presents in exceptional condition throughout and presents a spacious layout for longer stays on board and entertaining.
