About this vessel
Designed by Alan Burnard who utilised his experience gained in the design of the legendary Fairy powerboats, as well as high speed race boats to produce this elegant modern powerboat. Combining performance and comforts he has created a stylish boat capable of operating in all weather conditions. Peregrine was commissioned in 2009 and initially used as a demonstration boat before she was first bought in 2014. She has been exceptionally well looked after and wintered ashore every year.
Twin Volvo Penta six cylinder D6-310 turbo charged diesel engines. 310 hp driving an Inboard Propulsion System 400. The IPS 400 and engine are fully integrated and controlled by Volvo s EVC system complete with joystick control. Engine hours - 270. Last serviced - 2025. In 2023/24 the engines were removed, overhauled and had new wiring and hosing. Trim Tabs. 3 bladed bronze propellers.
Fuel tanks - 2 x 300litres. Water tank - 250 litres. Pressurised hot and cold water system. Water heated by engine calorifier and 240v immersion heater.
4 x 180ah 12 volt batteries with isolator switches. Charged by engine alternator and 240v shore power battery charger. Shore power ring main with outlets in the cockpit, engine room and cabin. 12v accessory outlet.
Suunto Compass. Raymarine Chartplotter. Clipper Depth. Standard Horizon VHF with DSC. Navigation lights.
Teak foredeck and side decks. Stainless steel bow, midships and stern cleats. Stainless steel pulpit. Anchor with bow roller, chain and warp. Large anchor locker with drainage. Flip rings for fenders. Fenders and warps. Stainless steel flagstaff.
Automatic and manual bilge pumps.
Navy full awning over cockpit. Spray dodger.
Cockpit
Open cockpit with teak floor. Aft cockpit seating with table. Hatch with access to tanks and batteries. Gas locker. Adjustable helm and navigator's seats.
Saloon
Large forward V-settee with storage below. Folding dining table with infill converting to double berth. 2 quarter berths, one to port and one to starboard both with storage below. Blue upholstery throughout. To port is a galley complete with a Waeco fridge, two burner gas hob and sink. To starboard is the heads with pressurised shower, sink and freshwater heads. Fusion radio with speakers.
GRP Hull deck and superstructure. Light gelcoat finish. Stainless steel rubbing strake with rubber insert.
