Overview
About this vessel
A true one-of-a-kind vessel, AZZUM is a groundbreaking wave-piercing power trimaran designed by renowned New Zealand naval architect Craig Loomes and meticulously constructed by C3 Warrick Yeoman in Whangarei, New Zealand. This sleek, high-performance craft was launched in 2010 and built as a demonstrator – resulting in very light use and just 138 hours on her twin Yamaha 350hp outboards.
Combining cutting-edge hydrodynamics with a luxury fit-out, AZZUM delivers exceptional comfort, speed, and stability in a bold, futuristic package. Whether you're island-hopping across Southeast Asia or looking for a head-turning chase boat or private explorer, AZZUM is in a class of her own.
Interior & Accommodation
AZZUM comfortably sleeps four adults in two stylish double cabins. Expansive windows and overhead hatches fill the interior with natural light and panoramic sea views, blending comfort with an airy, modern design.
The flybridge features Recaro leather bucket seating for four. The interior lounge offers leather seating for eight, with a 32" retractable plasma TV and surround sound system. A designer galley features stainless steel microwave, fridge, freezer, and built-in coffee machine. The modern bathroom includes a shower, designer tapware, and toilet. A carbon fibre dining table (removable) is stored beneath the stern platform. Ample storage is provided throughout, including head and cockpit compartments.
Deck & Exterior
The wave-piercing hull design not only offers outstanding fuel efficiency and ride comfort, but also allows access to shallow bays and beaches without the need for a tender. Stern seating for 4 with a small swim platform and large cockpit storage are provided.
Performance & Handling
AZZUM is a thrill to drive – stable, responsive, and unfazed by rough sea states thanks to her unique tri-hull wave-piercing design. The addition of hydrofoils and a stern ballast tank allows you to adapt trim and ride quality depending on sea conditions. She handles more like a performance sports car than a traditional cruiser – exhilarating, yet controlled.
