Riviera 47 Enclosed Flybridge
Overview
About this vessel
The 47 Enclosed benefited from Generation 2 upgrades 6 improvements to the running surface of the boat including propeller tunnels and underwater exhausts. The tunnels allowed a shallower shaft angle and, as a result, better performance while the underwater exhausts reduced noise and fumes.
However, the most outstanding difference between this model and her two siblings was the three-side enclosed flybridge. Accessed by ladder from the cockpit, the flybridge featured a large wrap-around windscreen with wipers, and side-open windows. The space was air-conditioned and equipped with an aft helm and a pair of Pompanette chairs, a wet bar and two fabric-covered lounges 6 an L-shape lounge around a high-low GRP table immediately forward of the helm and the second along the port side forward of the wet bar. The table could quickly be lowered and filled with cushions to create a double day bed 6 or additional overnight accommodation. The port lounge could also act as a further occasional guest bed.
With the additional flybridge accommodation, two double beds and a twin berth cabin on the accommodation deck and a dinette that could convert to yet another double, the 47 Enclosed is so much more than a convertible cruising/fishing yacht. She is capable of sleeping a large party comfortably overnight!
A large U-shape galley on the port side of the saloon ensured the party was also well fed, morning, noon and night. The chef was provided with a galley that included solid-surface benchtops, a two-burner electric cooktop, round stainless-steel sink and moulded drainer, under-bench convection microwave oven and drawer fridges.
The L-shape dinette opposite could comfortably accommodate five adults. An L-shaped lounge and ottoman aft of the galley faced an entertainment unit with flat-screen TV, sound system, glassware drawers and a bar fridge.
Cabin accommodation below decks included the master suite forward with a queen walk-around bed, lockers on either side and twin wardrobes as well as a flat-screen TV. An en suite bathroom was in the aft port quarter. The second stateroom amidships on the starboard side provided a double bed, plenty of storage and direct access to the second bathroom that included a second door in the corridor. The third cabin opposite was equipped with pullman-style bunks.
PowerYacht's review said "The 47's huge international appeal reflects a host of exceptional features, outstanding craftsmanship and unparalleled value."
