Overview
About this vessel
This is a second owner 2011 Hewescraft 260 Alaskan that has been stored under cover. The Hewescraft 260 Alaskan is a blend of fast offshore sport fisher with a big cockpit, standup marine head, and walk-through cabin with a well-deck forward for easy anchoring or fishing from the bow-area of the boat. The port and starboard bench seats make into a transverse double berth for sleeping accommodation.
The vessel is powered with twin Yamaha 150 HP 4-cylinder gas outboards that have been maintained by The Bay Company in Wrangell, with 890 hours of service. She burns 8–12 gallons per hour at 28 MPH and carries 125 gallons of gasoline, giving her an effective range of 250 nautical miles depending on vessel loading, tide, current, and sea state.
The boat features two below deck floodable fish lockers with shut off valves and a cockpit saltwater washdown system. A Wallas forced air kerosene furnace provides heating. Electronics include a Lowrance Radar, Garmin Echomap 94 SV, VHF Radio, and a Go-Light remote control roof mounted spot/flood light. The boat comes with a 2011 Galvanized EZ Loader Tandem axle bunk trailer with side guides.
