Elite Marine 10.8m Offshore Catamaran
Overview
About this vessel
We are pleased to present this purpose-built 10.8m offshore rescue catamaran, professionally refit in 2021 by Dongara Marine.
Originally constructed for Volunteer Marine Rescue operations, this vessel has been designed and proven in high-pressure, real-world offshore conditions. It offers a rare opportunity to acquire a commercial-grade platform with genuine operational pedigree and recent mechanical upgrades.
Built for reliability, safety and performance offshore, this aluminium catamaran is ideally suited to operators seeking a multi-role workboat capable of immediate deployment (subject to survey requirements).
Commercial Applications
Offshore patrol & security, dive & survey support, crew transfer & logistics, government or emergency response, and charter conversion.
Designed and constructed for demanding operational environments, this vessel delivers the strength, sea-keeping ability and practical layout required for rescue and offshore response work. The refit has modernised and refreshed the vessel with new engines, new stern legs, new windows, updated seating and a comprehensive repaint, ensuring she presents in good condition and is mechanically updated where it matters most.
Equipped with an updated Raymarine MFD, this vessel offers a capable and reliable electronics suite suitable for ongoing rescue, patrol or commercial applications. The wheelhouse configuration provides excellent visibility and protection from the elements, while the working deck space is practical and functional for operational deployment.
The 2021 refit by Dongara Marine included hull repairs, full strip back and repainting of hull and superstructure including updating livery to new specifications, fuel system modifications including new piping and tank inspections and pressure testing, repowering including removal of existing engines and replacing with new Volvo Penta diesels as well as all new cooling water systems, engine controls and monitoring systems, replacement of the propulsion drives with new sterndrive units and associated steering systems, interior refit including new suspension seats and replacement of forward windows, and partial removal of aft canopy to facilitate interoperability with helicopters.
This vessel features a robust offshore hull design, enclosed wheelhouse for crew protection, and was built to a survey standard, previously operating as a Marine Rescue vessel with proven operational history.
The vessel is currently in AMSA Certificate of Survey (COS) for use as a Marine Rescue Vessel only and is not in full AMSA survey for general operations. The vessel was built to a standard suitable for survey and similar Marine Rescue vessels have successfully been placed into full AMSA commercial survey following the completion of required compliance inspections and modifications.
