Ranger Tugs R-29

Point Aft'R is a well-equipped 2012 example of the popular Ranger Tug 29. She is powered by a freshly rebuilt 260 HP Yanmar 6BY2 and represents one of the most versatile and accommodating boats in her class. Trailerable, the Ranger Tug 29 is ideal for the Great Loop, coastal cruising, or relaxed days on the lake. She is currently berthed in a transferable slip on Lake Norman in Cornelius, North Carolina and is ready to show.

The Ranger R-29 is a compact coastal trawler with salty lines reminiscent of a commercial tug boat. Marketed as a trailerable cruiser, the R-29 offers admirable range, a smooth ride, responsive performance, and all the standard features required by the cruising couple. The R-29's cozy interior incorporates a single-level salon with the galley to port and a convertible dinette to starboard. A convenient pilothouse door at the helm provides easy access to the outside deck. The forward stateroom features an island berth with separate head and shower, and a bi-fold privacy door separates the midship stateroom from the salon. Large salon windows and five opening skylight hatches provide excellent natural light and ventilation.
