This Catalina 385 is comprehensively equipped for comfortable day-sailing, weekends away or coastal cruising. Her shoal draft allows sailing in shallower waterways such as the Gippsland Lakes and allows easy access to all the ports and rivers up the AUS East Coast. Desirable cruising features include a new inflatable dinghy with a light-weight electric outboard and a Rainman portable fresh water-maker. The comprehensive suite of Raymarine electronics includes a Hybrid Touch multi-function display with electronic charting and multiple cockpit mounted displays plus a second Hybrid-Touch repeater at the chart table below decks, a high-definition 16NM RADAR, an X-10 Autopilot with linear drive ram, VHF radio and AIS transceivers. The low-hours 39HP Yanmar diesel engine has shaft drive to an Autostream 3-blade feathering propeller.

The standing rigging was fully renewed in 2023 and professionally inspected and tuned in 2025. The colour-matched navy blue spray dodger, clears cover for the dodger, bimini sunshade with link-sheet together with the helm and deck hatch covers were all renewed in 2025 so she looks great.

The supremely comfortable and inviting interior has lots of light and space and features two large and private double berth cabins. The roomy forward owners cabin has direct access to the ensuite toilet and separate shower compartment. The rear cabin, with its huge athwartship double berth is equally spacious and comfortable. The large sea-going galley features a gas stove and oven, twin stainless steel sinks with hot & cold water, two fridges and very generous storage. The expansive main saloon features a fold-away teak saloon table and L shaped seating while opposite is a single settee berth that converts readily to form a twin seat coffee table and lounge area.
