About this vessel
This Chaparral 19 Ski-Fish is an entry-level bowrider built to get the most out of every opportunity. The seating and deck cushions can all be removed and relocated to create massive casting areas, raised fishing positions, or comfortable cruising space. There is rod storage and a live bait tank that doubles up as an insulated icebox. The boat features a big bimini for shade and high and low ski tow points for tubes, water skiing or wake boarding.
Powered by a Mercruiser 4.3L MPi V6 with 220 HP stern drive, the boat offers oodles of power with quick acceleration and a 45 knot top speed. It handles superbly in rougher conditions and is very stable at rest. Tow weight is under 2000 KG with full fuel and gear. There is plenty of storage for skis and personal gear.
This example is highly optioned, with Chaparral's saltwater tough build quality and a reputation as Australia's most popular bowrider of its era. These boats still punch well above their weight, even against newer and far more expensive bowriders.
