Fountaine Pajot Mahe 36 Evolution
Overview
About this vessel
The Mahé 36 by Fountaine Pajot packs everything you need for serious offshore sailing without the price tag of a larger catamaran. The design specs are simple: safe navigation, comfortable living, and real sailing performance. Joubert/Nivelt designed the hulls, Olivier Flahault the overall design, and the result is a boat that feels bigger than her length suggests. The fully protected cockpit sits right alongside the saloon, so you're never truly inside or outside. It has that seamless indoor-outdoor flow that makes catamarans so liveable in tropical climates.
The standout feature on the Mahé 36 by Fountaine Pajot is the rigid bimini; not a canvas afterthought, but a structural hard top with the dual helm seat integrated right in and the mainsail track mounted directly on it. It's a clever piece of engineering that gives you proper shade, a real helm position, and a cleaner deck all at once.
Down below, the 3-cabin layout gives the master stateroom its own hull with an attached head, which equals genuine privacy. The other hull runs two double cabins, each with everything a cruising guest needs to be comfortable. It's a proven charter layout for good reason.
Affordable, well-thought-out, and genuinely capable offshore. Happy Eva is ready for her next owner.
