A rare opportunity to acquire one of the most thoughtfully specified and beautifully executed Nordhavn 68s ever built. Delivered new to Australia and still under the care of her original owners, Karajas (Hull #25) was conceived from day one as a quiet, reliable and highly autonomous passagemaker. Her brief resulted in a CE-marked build, 230V/50Hz electrical specification, whilst with the ability to accept 60 Hz, a deeply upgraded engineering platform, and one of the most refined custom interiors ever created on a Nordhavn 68, personally designed with interior architect Scott Cole and finished in satin-stained mahogany, marble and premium stainless accents.
Her walk-around teak decks, FRP flybridge hardtop, serious hydraulic systems and redundant hotel infrastructure make her equally capable of crossing oceans or offering luxurious family cruising along any coast or crossing any ocean. Every detail on this vessel reflects a meticulous, first-owner approach with a strong emphasis on longevity, noise reduction, craftsmanship and self-sufficiency.
Karajas is not a standard Nordhavn 68. She represents the combined influence of an experienced commissioning owner, the PAE engineering team, and interior architect Scott Cole and full oversight throughout the build from Steve D 9Antonio, resulting in one of the quietest-running, deeply customised, and technically advanced N68s on the water. Karajas has extensively cruised the South Pacific, to some of the most isolated locations on earth, solely with her owner operators, giving a real testament to the capability, redundancy and reliability of what her platform offers.
From solid teak flooring and extensive marble finishes to IsoBoost transformers, triple Victron Quattros, premium LED lighting, custom helm architecture, teak everywhere, STW-600 7 watermakers and a rare unleaded bowser, every detail points to long-life value, redundancy and craftsmanship. For an Australian buyer, she is absolutely turnkey. For an international buyer, she is ready to leave tomorrow.
A world-capable expedition yacht with impeccable provenance, Karajas is a one-owner, Nordhavn 68 with extensive customisation and a unique, designer-led interior. Outfitted with top-tier systems, premium materials and transoceanic range, she is equally suited for global exploration or luxurious coastal cruising. Located on the East Coast of Australia. Inspections available by appointment.
