Azimut 54 Fly
Overview
About this vessel
The only Azimut 54 listed on the West Coast. And, one of very few later-model flybridge aft-cockpit sedans in this size range available in California. Add that she's loaded with options and equipment, and is a beautiful yacht in well-kept condition. Held in a sole-asset LLC. This yacht is equipped with V-Drives, not pods. Yet, the motors are integrated with the thrusters via a joystick which utilizes computer control of the shifters, RPM, and thrusters to maneuver the boat for docking in a similar single-point-of-control fashion as pods. V-Drive gear boxes are INSIDE the boat like direct-drives, not immersed in saltwater like pods.
Tour Enter the cockpit from the platform, or one of the side gates. The U-seating is plush and attractive, with a large table in the center. Pick up the starboard cushion, lift the lockable hatch, and climb down into the crew quarters. The cushions have been removed in favor of storage, but it could be converted back. Walk up the safe flybridge steps to port, and you're on the upper deck, with 2 big sundaes fore and aft, a good-sized settee, and the upper helm station with all needed controls and electronics. Return to the cockpit, and enter the sliding door into the salon, with U-wrap around sofa to port, and cabinetry to starboard with a built-in retractable smart TV. Going forward, the gallery is to port, and another settee to starboard, which includes the helm seat which can be electrically positioned either for piloting or for use at the settee. Stepping down and forward, the master stateroom is aft amidships, with beam-to beam spaciousness and large windows on both sides. There is a 2-person settee for coffee or computer work, and a private head with separate shower. Going forward, the guest stateroom is to starboard with 2 bunk beds. The VIP stateroom is in the bow, with a private entrance to the guest head. A very roomy and comfortable yacht, with modern equipment, impressive performance, stylish Italian aesthetics, and elegant, tasteful decor.
Comments Boats listed in the Southeast cannot compare. They may look like less cost, but are missing things like a tender, water maker, Yacht Controller, flybridge canvas and Eisenglass, etc., plus much higher hours, and not maintained in the same fashion. The Southeast is hard on boats, with the sun and humidity, and generally more usage. And, if they are not in an LLC, you'll pay CA sales/use tax when the boat arrives from Florida, after paying $60,000 to transport it here. It would cost you more to get an inferior boat to CA than to purchase this one that is already here, well equipped, and gorgeous.
