About this vessel
Leander is a 2015 Hanse 455, really beautifully presented with a number of recent upgrades including lithium battery bank, electric winches, solar panels, cockpit enclosure and heating system.
The Hanse 455 has been one of the most popular yachts ever built in this size category, offering a fabulous owner's suite forward with island bed and completely separate shower cubicle. Two additional double cabins aft offer great guest accommodation.
The interior features upgraded Cherry wood with teak and holly flooring and the popular Florence upholstery upgrade. A lovely saloon area welcomes you with an L shaped galley on starboard and a great lounging area to enjoy. The owner's suite is huge for a 45 footer, boasting an island bed and dedicated shower cubicle. LED lighting and blinds/mozzie screens further complete the finish.
The Hanse 455 has a really great interior layout with a saloon table with seating, double berth conversion, and sofa on port side. The L shaped galley on starboard includes a large fridge, gas cooker and double sink. Navigation station features a chart table with folding seat on port side, 12v switch panel and VHF installation. Forward cabin has a double island bed with storage underneath, shower cubicle on starboard side, and loo and wash basin on port side. Two double aft cabins offer wardrobe storage, and a large heads on port side has a separate shower cubicle.
The GRP hull features a balsa core and epoxy vinylester outer laminate for osmosis prevention, with white gelcoat and dark grey stripes. A carbon re-enforced main bulkhead and water tight crash bulkhead at sail locker provide structural integrity. The composite subframe supports a GRP deck with balsa core and non slip deck finish. A teak cockpit sole, benches and bathing platform give a classic feel, with cast iron keel and semi balanced rudder with self aligning needle bearings.
Deck equipment includes folding bathing platform with teak decking finish, cockpit table for teak folding leaves and storage space, twin helm stations with instrument pods, electric and manual winches, cockpit lockers, Spinlock jammer banks, rope tail lockers at helm positions, gas bottle locker, guardwires with side gates, multiple opening deck hatches, opening saloon windows, huge sail locker forward, chain locker, and electric windlass with wired remote control.
