Launched in 2015, the 28.6m (94') FIREFLY is part of Mulder Shipyard s Voyager line of long-distance motor yachts. Designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, she features a high bow with an elegant S-curve along the gunwale, giving the yacht a timeless, classical profile.
FIREFLY was built to RINA classification and features naval architecture by Vripack, with a round-bilged aluminum hull that enhances stability and efficiency. Twin Caterpillar engines deliver a top speed of 15 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 13 knots, while a 3,600-nautical-mile range at 10 knots makes her well suited for trans-Mediterranean or Atlantic passages. The comfort at sea is ensured by her zero speed stabilizers.
Her exterior styling reflects Omega s signature balance between practicality and aesthetics. The high bulwarks topped with thick teak cap rails create a ship-like feel and provide natural protection for guests moving around deck. Wide walkways lead to a generous foredeck lounge with a U-shaped sofa and dining table, a favorite spot for breakfast or sunset drinks. Aft, the cockpit offers another al fresco dining area, while the large swim platform which gives easy access to the water. The flybridge spans nearly the full length of the upper deck and includes a dining table, bar, sunbeds and a fixed hardtop with translucent panels to let light.
FIREFLY s interior features American walnut combined with white oak, ocean-themed d E9cor and soft tones that give the main salon its welcoming atmosphere. Covering more than 40 square meters, the open-plan lounge and dining area flow naturally, with large windows flooding the space with daylight.
Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins. The full-beam master suite amidships offers 24 square meters of space and is separated from the engine room by 140mm of sound insulation. Large portholes fill the room with natural light. Forward, a VIP cabin and two convertible twins each include en-suite bathrooms finished in half-marble and fitted with Grohe and Villeroy & Boch fixtures. Crew quarters aft accommodate four in two cabins with a crew mess.
