Nautitech Open 40

ET HOP! is a 2016 Nautitech Open 40 model, privately owned and never chartered, now in her fourth ownership. Notably, her first owner was Marc Lombard, the yacht's designer, which probably reflects the quality of the original specification and overall coherence of the boat. This model is widely recognised as one of the most successful performance cruising catamarans in her size range, combining excellent sailing capabilities with a bright, open living concept, perfectly fitted for the tropical climate with a huge open cockpit.

This 4-cabin version offers a highly functional and versatile layout, ideal for both family cruising and hosting guests. The open-plan saloon and cockpit create a seamless indoor-outdoor living space, a defining feature of the Nautitech Open range, designed for easy circulation, natural ventilation, and panoramic visibility at sea. Her sailing performance is enhanced by a complete sail inventory, including a brand new mainsail (2026), gennaker on furler, self tacking jib and symmetric spinnaker, offering versatility across a wide range of conditions.

Set up for autonomy, she is equipped with a 60 L/h Dessalator watermaker, a 900W solar array, a new 800Ah battery bank (2025), and Victron power management systems. The galley has been thoughtfully upgraded to integrate a full size 220V domestic fridge/freezer (approx. 250L), providing generous storage capacity and improved accessibility. This smart solution also ensures worldwide serviceability, as replacement units are readily available off-the-shelf anywhere in the world.
