About this vessel
You can experience an exceptionally soft ride at an economical 10-15 knots and have the ability to get up and go thanks to the hull's design allowing it to transition smoothly onto a plane at lower speeds than traditional boats, enabling a top speed of 20 knots at full throttle.
The Edlin 1020 is constructed with a robust strip-plank timber core, fully sheathed in fibreglass inside and out. This method provides incredible stiffness, superior insulation and an integral girder system for durability. Decks and cabin tops feature a lightweight, stiff ply/foam/glass sandwich, ensuring a low centre of gravity and a high-quality build.
Stepping in from the cockpit, you are welcomed to a thoughtfully designed interior perfect for weekend cruising. The forward cabin features a large V-berth and clever stowage, with full standing headroom of 1.9 metres. Two single bunks are tucked neatly beneath the raised saloon and helm seat. The saloon table and settee offer another convertible berth. The helm station and functional galley run along the starboard side, while the raised L-shaped seating to port provides great visibility either at anchor or underway.
The simple, robust cockpit is built for action and easy maintenance. A gas BBQ opens up alongside the fold-down transom, also creating easy boarding. Beneath the sole, three simple hatches provide storage and access to the hull structure.
