A striking Intercruiser 29 built in 2017 and launched in 2018, specified to a particularly high standard with a number of rare and desirable optional extras. Powered by the larger 220hp five-cylinder Volvo Penta D3 engine, this example benefits from electronic throttle controls, as well as both bow and stern thrusters for effortless manoeuvring. The five-cylinder D3 is notably smooth and quiet at river cruising speeds, making it an exceptionally refined choice for inland waterways, harbours and estuarial cruising.
With a CE Category B rating, the Intercruiser 29 is equally at home on coastal waters or inland rivers, offering an ideal blend of luxury, practicality and performance.
The spacious cockpit layout, with aft helm position and twin L-shaped seating areas, comfortably accommodates guests, creating an excellent social space for entertaining. The hull is hand lay-up fibreglass with stainless steel air inlets for the engine compartment, stainless steel exhaust, and a teak frame around the swimming platform. The deck features four stainless steel opening portholes, two hatches, two cowl ventilators, stainless steel railing, and a self-draining cockpit with highly spacious storage areas beneath the L-shaped benches. The port bench in the cockpit converts to a sun bed or can feature as a berth.
The galley features a 65 litre refrigerator, twin burner gas cooker, stainless steel wash basin with mixer taps providing hot and cold running water, and a pressure water system with 30 litre immersion boiler. The cabin includes a double berth fitted to the forepeak, bench seating, hanging lockers, and oak cabinetry. The toilet compartment consists of an electric flush toilet, stainless steel sink with hand shower providing hot and cold water, and opening hatch in ceiling.
