About this vessel
The Princess S65 is a luxury motor yacht built by Princess Yachts in 2017, located in Thailand. It features a white hull and walnut interior wood satin finish, with wood flooring throughout the craft except cabins. The layout includes a crew cabin fit out with a single berth and separate WC and shower, a starboard cabin with double berth conversion with powered sliding mechanism on inboard berth, and a study in place of port cabin with desk, loose chair with storage, and a single hideaway berth.
The yacht is equipped with twin MAN V12-1400 (2 x 1400mhp) diesel engines with 1,630 engine hours as of July 2024. It has variable speed bow and stern thrusters with hold-function docking facility and dual station controls, with the standard bowthruster uprated to 210kgf and a 170kgf sternthruster fitted. Stabilisation is provided by a Seakeeper Gyro Stabiliser (NG9).
Deck hardware includes electric stern rope handling winches (2), electro-hydraulic telescopic passerelle (3.5m) with automatic hand rails, wired passerelle via the master switch in addition to its own switch, third station controls in cockpit (engine controls, thruster controls and engine emergency stops), electrically operated sliding roof over forward saloon area, electrically operated sun awning to aft end of cockpit, additional 40m of 10 mm anchor chain to give a total of 80 metres, stainless steel anchor in place of standard (40Kg), chain counter at upper & lower helm, and 3 dive bottle stainless rack fitted in Lazerette.
The yacht has an ONAN 19 kW / 50 Hz generator with 1,790 generator hours as of April 2020. Electrical features include continental 220v/240v sockets, underwater transom lights (4 LUMISHORE SMX95), 2 x 30 metre 32amp shore support leads, and a safe fitted inside master stateroom wardrobe.
Audio visual and communications include iPhone docking station x 2 and 4G Router for Wi-Fi. Navigation equipment features four Raymarine e165 multifunction 15.4" brilliant colour multifunction displays, rest of world & European version plotter charts, international VHF, and Raymarine AIS Class B Transponder interfaced with chartplotter & with 8ft (2.4m) aerial.
Airconditioning is reverse cycle airconditioning/heating (88,000 BTU) with aft cabin air conditioning - condensing unit 6,000BTU supplying 6,000BTU unit (with SMX control). Exterior upholstery, canvas, and covers include foredeck sunbed and seating cushions in Movida Mettalic, cockpit & sportbridge upholstery including helm seats in Movida Mettalic, bimini top in charcoal grey sunbrella canvas, bimini top in two tone Sunbrella with linen underside, bimini top with LED overhead lighting (switched from console), white mesh windscreen covers, protection cover for the cockpit teak table white, and protection cover for the flybridge teak table white.
Spare equipment includes a spare pair of Veem propellers. Tender is a Williams Turbojet 325 (100hp). Last services include antifoul in March 2021, engine service in July 2020, and generator service in July 2020.
