Iffin can be boarded on the starboard side directly into the aft cockpit area by a transom step-through, with a rail between you and the engines for safety. The exterior layout is asymmetrical, with a wide side deck to starboard while maximizing interior volume to port. There is an opening starboard side door at the helm station. Jeanneau has used a sliding aft cabin door to extend the living space right back to the end of the cockpit at the transom.
The upper cabin area features a galley aft of the helm station to starboard, with a dinette to port. Down below is the master stateroom forward with a full privacy door. The head is aft of the stateroom to starboard. The guest stateroom is to port, across from the head. The door to the guest stateroom has been removed and is in storage.
The cockpit on Iffin features an L-Shaped seating area to port, with a removable table. The aft bench seat slides on a track to provide more room in either the cockpit or on the swim platform. There is a sunshade over the cockpit area. Ample storage is located under the cockpit seating. There is a handy four-step swing-down swim ladder on the starboard side swim platform. Both sides of the swim platform feature Teak decking.
The foredeck features a sun pad which can be folded up to make a recliner or laid flat to make a sun pad. There are handholds on the cabin roof for safety. There is a high bow rail that extends from the bow anchor locker all the way back to the cockpit, with a lifeline middle rail all the way through. The overhead hatch in the forward master cabin opens onto the foredeck. The Lewmar windlass can be operated from the bow with a wired remote control.
The main cabin features the helm station on the starboard side with a door to the exterior. The driver enjoys a single multiway adjustable captain seat. The tilt wheel accommodates standing or seated operation and in addition to the instruments on the dashboard, there 9s an overhead console for radios and other equipment. Aft of the helm station on the starboard side is the galley unit. The cabinet lid lifts up to reveal a two-burner electric stovetop and there is a single sink with a fold-down faucet. The generator controls are below this cabinet. A refrigerator freezer is mounted under the helm seat. Opposite the galley is the convertible dinette, with seating available for four people. The front seat-back flips and the forward seat becomes a two-person companion seat beside the captain. In addition the table drops, there is a filler cushion, and it easily becomes a double berth. The NC 895 includes curtains all around the main cabin for privacy. Opening hatches on the cabin roof slide back in two sections to bring in lots of light and ventilation on sunny days, or you can close them down securely for inclement weather. The magnetic-latched covers easily convert from shades to screens.
The master cabin is forward in the bow and features a circular bed to make the most of the space. There is a privacy door. There is storage beneath the berth and in the side storage lockers. The cabin enjoys light pouring in from the portlights, which also have privacy curtains. The overhead hatch has a darkening shade for privacy. Aft of the master cabin, to starboard is the head. It features: an electric toilet (replaced by the current owner), a vessel sink, a vanity cabinet, and a hand-held shower faucet. An opening curtained porthole is available for ventilation. There is access to the back of the helm station in the head. The guest berth is to port, across from the head, with accommodations for two and sitting headroom. Above the entrance to this space is a glass panel on the companion side dashboard to bring in light and open the area visually. The privacy door has been removed, and the hinge holes have been filled. The door is in storage and is available to reinstall.
