Cat Balou 12.7m Alloy Power Cat

CAT BALOU is a 12.7m aluminum Catamaran apparently designed by Grant Firth Marine Design, based on the Australian Power Cat style, and hugely upgraded/rebuilt 5 years ago. Our vendor has loved owning and fishing Wanganui/Cook Strait from her for the past 38 years and is now sadly looking to retire from boating. Well set up for fishing/diving & cruising with great cockpit space, large alloy c/pit cover & dive platform by Q-West with great flybridge storage and seating. Cruise is fast at 24 knts with max of 28 knts. 5 Berths with 2 x Dbl forward cabins and x1 saloon, spacious saloon and good galley. Strongly built and an excellent sea boat, she sank at her mooring due to a hose fault in 2018. Subsequently rebuilt 2018 under insurance ($227k spent) with new motors, legs, interior, electronics and rewired.
