Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 70
Overview
About this vessel
This Monte Carlo Yachts 70 is a second-generation model launched in 2020, designed by Nuvolari & Lenard and built in Italy. Compared to the earlier 2014 version, the updated design offers more interior volume, higher ceilings, and a brighter, more open feel. She has been professionally maintained by a full-time crew since delivery, with a clean engine room and well-kept systems throughout.
The layout includes four staterooms and three heads. A private stairway leads to the full-beam master suite, offering excellent privacy, a walk-in closet, and generous ensuite. Two twin guest cabins are located forward, with a third twin midship. Crew accommodation is aft with separate access.
The galley is on the main deck in an L-shape, equipped with Miele appliances, a full-sized fridge, and a marble bar counter with two stools. It is a well-designed space for someone who enjoys cooking.
The flybridge has always been one of the owner 27s favourite areas. It is shaded with an electric sunroof, has a proper wet bar, and the space is laid out nicely for relaxing. The bow is also a highlight. Like on all Monte Carlo Yachts, it is both safe and welcoming. There are two semi-circular seating areas with teak tables in between, and both tables are on electric hi-lo pedestals. You can lower one or both to turn the space into a sun pad. The seatbacks lift into position when dining or drop flat when sunbathing. There is also an option to join the tables with a cushion insert to create a larger lounge area.
Powered by twin MAN V8 1200 hp engines on shaft drive, she cruises comfortably at 20 knots. Joystick control and a Seakeeper stabilizer make her easy to handle and stable in all conditions. For extended cruising, she is equipped with dual generators, a watermaker, and a chilled water air conditioning system.
