About this vessel
The Princess Y85 Motor Yacht is a luxurious and powerful vessel built by Princess Yachts in 2021. It features a bespoke interior scheme specified by the Princess Yachts Design Studio, including carpet, bedding, scatter cushions and exterior upholstery selections. The yacht has a Silver Oak interior wood gloss finish with galley and wheelhouse floors in V groove planked Walnut as standard. The galley is equipped with an organic white quartz worktop. The layout includes Poliform Grace dining chairs with arms in Spessart Oak, a starboard cabin with double berth conversion with powered sliding mechanism, an additional high level berth in the Captain's cabin with individual reading light, a master stateroom with sofa (with storage) in place of occasional table with armchairs, and a bidet in the master stateroom bathroom. The bathrooms feature Grigio Collemandia marble floors and Mystery White marble worktops.
The exterior features include a canopy style line painted in Graphite Grey and main deck window graphics painted in Onyx Black metallic. Cockpit and flybridge furniture are painted in Oyster Grey metallic with Bronze metallic accents where applicable. The hull is white with dark grey water line, black antifouling, and white fendering with stainless steel insert on the bathing platform. The yacht has teak laid flybridge and side decks, a GRP flybridge hardtop finished in white gelcoat with Oyster Grey metallic legs, and an up/down electro-hydraulic transom platform with 550Kg SWL fitted as standard.
The yacht is powered by twin MAN V12-1800 (2 x 1800mhp) diesel engines with 525 engine running hours as of June 2025. It has a standard hydraulic system combining the bowthruster with proportional speed control and windlass system, and a hydraulic sternthruster with variable speed 340 KgF. Stabilisation is provided by a Sleipner hydraulic system incorporating SPS92/VF1350 vector fin stabilizer system, designed to provide roll control at speeds above 12 knots as well as zero speed stabilisation. Bow and stern thrusters feature fully proportional speed control. When the main engines are off, hydraulics are powered by an electric motor with 2 x 27 kW generators recommended.
The yacht includes advanced navigation equipment with 3 x 19" Raymarine Axiom XL multifunction displays, GPS, 4kw SHD 48" digital colour open array scanner, Raymarine p70Rs autopilot with rate gyro, i70s colour multifunction instruments, dual station autopilot controls, Raymarine AIS 700 Class B transponder, and international VHF. Airconditioning/heating reverse cycle suitable for temperatures to 40 6C (tropical) is fitted as standard incorporating windscreen demist facility.
Audio visual and communications systems include a standard audio/video system with 55" UHD Smart LED TVs in deck saloon and master stateroom, 32" HD LED TV in forward guest cabin, Naim Uniti Atom audio system with Bluetooth and multi-zone streaming capability, Blu-ray UHD CD/DVD players, Bowers and Wilkins Marine waterproof speakers, on board Ethernet network and 4G internet capability, on board WIFI network with external WIFI and 3G/4G antenna for extended range, internal telephone system with PBX exchange with handsets in all cabins and at lower helm position, and TV aerials with 220v power outlets in starboard cabin and crew mess for later fitting of TV.
Electrical features include a freshwater maker (190 litres/hour) with remote instrumentation and service/spares kit, underwater transom lights (4 LUMISHORE SMX53 White), underfloor heating in master stateroom bathroom (excluding shower areas), spa bath on flybridge with increased calorifier and water pump capacity, icemaker in flybridge wetbar, Miele 34 bottle wine cooler fitted in galley, exterior decorative lighting upgrade with dimmable and portable LED lanterns, interior lighting upgrade package with additional fibre optics to saloon and dining area, and table lamps in saloon and master stateroom with Balada & Co Fenix Classic lampshades.
Deck hardware includes third station controls in cockpit (engine controls, thruster controls and engine emergency stops), cockpit servery unit with top loading coolbox (100 litres) and storage cupboard, side entry gates to aft port and starboard side decks in addition to standard passerelle, passerelle wiring for remote control use when main battery master switches are off, tender chock mounting system on bathing platform, passerelle wired via master switch and its own switch, and plug in carbon pole transom shower and deck socket to bathing platform.
Generators include ONAN 27 kW / 50 Hz generator fitted as standard and an additional ONAN 27 kW/50 Hz generator with running hours of 1,715 and 1,745 respectively as of June 2025.
Special features include twin MAN V12-1800 diesel engines, 2 x ONAN 27 kW/50 Hz generators, Sleipner vector fin stabilizers, GRP flybridge hardtop, spa bath on flybridge, 34 bottle wine cooler, third station controls, cockpit servery unit, freshwater maker, underwater lights, and 1 x Seabob F5 SR.
Exterior upholstery is Met Macadamia with cockpit U-shape sofa upholstered in outdoor linen driftwood. Exterior covers are grey, and aft flybridge sun awning is Anthracite Grey fabric with two carbon fibre poles and deck mounting sockets.
Owner's comments note last engine service and last generator service as TBC, and last antifoul in September 2024.
