About this vessel
The vessel features a composite Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) sandwich hull construction with a balsa core and fiberglass deck material. It has a balanced spade rudder and a multihull keel type. Built in South Africa, this boat is equipped with two engines, each with approximately 1900 hours run as of June 2025, featuring SD60 gearboxes and Morse double lever throttle/gearshift controls with raw water cooling systems.
The sail plan includes an Ullman fully battened main sail and a roller furling genoa, with spars made by Z-spars from aluminum and stainless steel standing rigging. The total sail area is 1318 square feet. Winches include 2 x Lewmar electric genoa winches at the helm, a Lewmar electric main halyard winch at the helm, and a Lewmar mainsheet winch.
Accommodations consist of 4 staterooms located in the port and starboard hulls, each with an en suite head. Inside equipment includes a saloon table convertible to a double bunk, a fresh water pump with accumulator tank, an ENO propane oven with a 3 burner cooktop, stainless steel sink, 5 showers, faux leather upholstery, and laminate finishes with solid wood trims for the interior construction.
Electrical equipment operates at 110v and includes 3 x AGM 210 AH house batteries, 2 x AGM engine batteries, 1 x AGM generator battery, a battery charger with 100Ah charge rate, and a Northern Lights 9 kW generator.
Deck equipment features an Edson wheel steering system, a custom helm enclosure dodger, fenders, a Lewmar electric windlass, stainless steel custom davits with electric winch, a primary Delta 55 lb anchor with 150 feet of chain, a secondary Britany 35 lb anchor, fire extinguishers, and other equipment such as anchor bridle and mooring equipment including fenders and mooring lines.
The vessel is equipped with covers including a lazy bag and lazyjacks. Electrical equipment includes a generator, inverter, and shore power inlet. Electronics include autopilot, cockpit speakers, compass, plotter, radio, VHF, and wind speed and direction instruments.
Inside equipment also includes air conditioning, battery charger, electric bilge pump, electric head, fresh water maker, hot water, manual bilge pump, marine head, oven, and refrigerator. Outside equipment includes a cockpit shower, cockpit table, and davits. Rigging features an electric winch and steering wheel. Sails include a battened mainsail and furling genoa.
The boat is powered by two Yanmar 4JH45 inboard sail drive diesel engines, each with 45 hp, 2,900 hours, and 3 blade aluminum propellers, built in 2021.
Accommodations include 4 heads and 4 cabins. Measurements are LOA 45 ft 4 in / 13.82 m, LWL 42 ft 11 in / 13.08 m, and beam 24 ft 2 in / 7.37 m. Tank capacities are 91.00 US gallons / 344.47 L fuel, 103.00 US gallons / 389.90 L water, and 16.00 US gallons / 60.57 L holding tank.
